Terrible Experience
“Avoid contracting a wood working project with Lou! He appears easy to work with in the beginning of the project but when things don't come together correctly, he is very problematic to work with. He claims to be a master craftsman but he makes mistakes and does not stand by his product. It starts with his initial drawings, his choice of wood, executing on the wood design and the finishing. We had problems all the way through. He is expensive and is slow.” -

avoid lou
“I would not recommend Lou. He makes promises on what he can deliver and then blames the customer when he cannot deliver. He knows wood but it is a very painful experience working with him. He is very slow finishing any project. I would not mind how long it takes, if he was pleasant to work with and delivered a satisfactory product. He claims that he guarantees his work but when something goes wrong, he avoids your calls and claims it is not his problem. He charges top dollar but he makes mistakes. He built a set of doors (using his measurements) but when the contractor came to install them, they did not fit properly. He was unwilling to correct the problem. He has limited knowledge about wood finishing so I would avoid him doing any kind of finishing. AVOID LOU!” -
